No need to reinvent the wheel if you use Google Docs Templates

You can use Google Docs template gallery to create your document, spreadsheet, presentation, or form.
Whether you need a resume and cover letter, an invoice, a birthday card, or any of a wide variety of templates, the gallery can help you get your doc started.

Here's how you can find a template:
  • From your Documents List, choose Search templates from the options next to the search box, or select Create new > From template
  • From the templates gallery site you can browse templates by category.
  • You can sort templates by popularity or rating, and by category or type of doc.
  • If you'd like to return to an unfiltered view of the gallery after sorting templates, simply click All templates or All categories.

Peruse the templates library and select one template.
  1. When the template opens up, edit it to your liking.
  2. Save the template with a new name.
  3. Look for it in your list of Google Docs!
